I grew up in Oregon, and I love it here, I can’t imagine living anywhere else. My husband is imported from Pennsylvania. We struggled with infertility before getting engaged, at which point we finally conceived our daughter. Three years later we conceived again, but unfortunately that pregnancy didn’t stick. Two more years later, at the beginning of the global pandemic we got pregnant with our son. This last year, things finally settled down enough that we decided it was time to legally tie the knot. The wedding we had was so much more intimate and personal than the one we were planning a decade ago, it was absolutely worth the wait! We’ve never done things in the expected order, but it’s all come out the same at the end.
